Hey everyone, I've got a new little painting to share! It's called "Journey to the Crown", which (artistically decoded) is symbolic of achieving peak enlightenment through the chakras. (In case you don't know what the chakras are: they are a network of seven major spiritual energy points throughout the body.) Possibly the most spiritually complex chakra, the crown chakra, is what is said to be the realization of Being, and can be described by the statement: "I am." I have chosen to paint (in acrylic, by the way) the journey to this chakra, because I believe it may best communicate what many of us ultimately strive for in life: complete wholeness. This concept is very comforting to me, and I hope that one day more of the world will recognize the importance of the Self.
